Downloading and Installing

You can install eMedic for Palm from Windowsor Macintosh computers.

Installing eMedic for Palm from Windows

Step 1	Obtain a registration code. You will need a registration code when you first run eMedic for Palm. If you misplaced your registration code, you can request a replacement code. If you do not own eMedic for Palm, you can purchase eMedic for Palm. If you own PalmEMS or MobileEMS, you can upgrade to eMedic for Palm.
Step 2	Click this download button to begin the download.
Step 3	Click the Save button to save the file with the default name (eMedicPalm_Setup.exe). Be sure to note the location where you save the file.
Step 4	Wait for the download to complete.
Step 5	Run the program you downloaded (eMedicPalm_Setup.exe) on your PC and follow the on-screen instructions. If you cannot find eMedicPalm_Setup.exe, repeat Step 3 noting the location where you save the file.
Step 6	Put your Palm-compatible handheld computer in its cradle and press the Hotsync button.
Step 7	Run eMedic for Palm on your Palm-compatible computer.
Step 8	Enter your registration code when prompted. If you do not have a registration code, please refer to Step 1. If a message is displayed saying that your registration code does not match your Palm's user name, write down the user name that is shown on you Palm computer where you enter the registration code. Then request a new registration code.

Installing eMedic for Palm from Macintosh

Step 1	Obtain a registration code. You will need a registration code when you first run eMedic for Palm. If you misplaced your registration code, you can request a replacement code. If you do not own eMedic for Palm, you can purchase eMedic for Palm. If you own PalmEMS or MobileEMS, you can upgrade to eMedic for Palm.
Step 2	Download the file named eMedicPalm.zip.
Step 3	Open the eMedicPalm.zip file using the appropriate zip compression program (such as the free StuffIt program). If you do not have a zip compression program, you can download the two individual files here: eMedicPalm.prc eMedicPNewdb.pdb
Step 4	Run the Palm Install Tool on your desktop computer, and install the two files that were extracted from the eMedicPalm.zip file (or downloaded individually).
Step 5	Put your Palm-compatible handheld computer in its cradle and press the Hotsync button.
Step 6	Run eMedic for Palm on your Palm-compatible computer.
Step 7	Enter your registration code when prompted. If you do not have a registration code, please refer to Step 1. If a message is displayed saying that your registration code does not match your Palm's user name, write down the user name that is shown on you Palm computer where you enter the registration code. Then request a new registration code.
